I find it terribly easy to make fun of people. Sometimes, I see someone walking by, and I have to actually command my mind to not put it's clown shoes on and act a fool. At times like that, I wonder if I am crazy.
Then I look on Twitter and see that I am JUST FINE.
Truly, people? Are y'all upset because there wasn't more destruction and terror from a Hurricane? I mean, I know that we here in California laughed at the East Coast for panicking over an earthquake, but it wasn't really so much laughter as it was gentle teasing. Reassuring humor, if you will.
At least nine people died from this Hurricane. I don't think their families are asking for more destruction to be dealt. Their families are pretty well destroyed right now.
On another note, to the families who lost someone, I send my heartfelt condolences. To the two families whose little children were killed, I mourn along with you.
I can joke about almost anything, and I know I can make fun of anyone. It is a highly pleasurable part of my day. But I won't touch that. I recognize what Hurricanes can do. I saw tweets from friends of mine saying that the water was coming into their home, and my heart dropped. That has to be scary. I couldn't make fun of that. Not unless I wanted God to look down on me for it. You know?
Anyways, this it the morning after blog just to say that I'm glad the majority of people I know made it through unscathed. I thought that I would put this song on here for y'all to groove to, as well.
Oh. And a thank you to She Seaux Saditty for putting all of those hurricane preparedness tweets up. I retweeted them. I hope someone used them.
